Toppings is on the official Chrome and Firefox stores. No sideloading, no developer mode, no account.

What it does

Audio mode. Hide the video and keep the audio. Black screen, visualizer, or your own image.
Loop segments. Mark in and out points and loop the section, or sequence several segments.
Custom playback rates. Speeds YouTube doesn't offer, from 0.0625× to 16×, on the native menu.
Toggle playback rate. One key flips between 1× and your preferred fast rate.
Seek shortcuts. Jump back and forward by a duration you choose.
Shorts auto-scroll. Advance to the next Short when one ends.
Playlist runtime. Total and average runtime shown at the top of every playlist.

Open the Chrome Web Store (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera) or Firefox Add-ons.
Click Add. The browser asks for two permissions: youtube.com access, to add the controls, and storage, to remember your settings. That is the whole list.
Open any video and press B for Audio mode. Settings live in the options page: right-click the toolbar icon → Options.

No analytics, no telemetry, no accounts. A feature may talk to our server to do its job, never to profile you. The source is on GitHub under GPL-3.0.
